NG15 invited as guest speakers on Metpro’s latest insight podcast
NG15’s CEO and Founder, Shaun Cranstone and Managing Director Suzanne Adgar were invited by Metpro to feature on their ‘insight’ Podcast, recorded at their head office in Birmingham. This podcast series focuses on the importance of delivering complete, accurate, seamless and up-to-date Manufacturer product information into the Construction industry. We were also joined by Phil Thompson, Managing Director of ‘Information Management Squared’, and recently appointed as Verifier for ‘Code for Construction Product Information’, who also provided important insights from the Contractor (consumer-user) point of view.
Guest Speakers
Metpro’s Marketing Manager Jacob Rudge (Podcast Presenter) and Tom Fiddy (Marketing Executive and acting as Sound Engineer), provided the perfect ‘podcast recording studio’. They prepared an excellent set of interview questions that led us to easily provide some very interesting and compelling content. We are sure that listeners will find the content engaging and insightful.
During the podcast, we cover areas such as:
- Where exactly is the industry now
- Apathy – why are manufacturers reluctant to embrace digitalisation
- Product Data Syndication, Manufacturers & Product Data Sheets
- The Importance of Product Data, On-Site Contractor Frustrations & How Wholesalers Can Help
- ETIM, Barcodes & The Unique Identifier
- What is a PIM?
- Advice for Starting your Data Journey
